James Maciver

Born to British parents and settled in France at age 8, James discovered his passion for visual storytelling at the age of 20 while making films on the boats he worked on. He further honed his skills at a film school before receiving a scholarship from the Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet Foundation in 2014. Since then, James has built an impressive portfolio of advertising content creations, ranging from Garnier and Lancôme commercials to Visa advertisements, all while finding time to create short films. His latest film, "HUGO: 18H30," was acquired by Canal+ and has won 9 awards in over fifty festivals.
